share price determination - 2010/02/24 18:13 Dear peaktime,

As total cumulative shareholder return is a function of the the share price,
it should be clarified what the share price is determined by.
In the readings it only states: "Increasing large positive cash flow results in high market value".

However, the team with largest cash flow is not the one with highest market value and hence not the one
with largest cumulative shareholder return.

Please clarify this.

with kind regards,
Ivan Ryzhkov

Defitinely there supposed to be some algorythm calculating the market share price. Could you, dear organizers, share it with us?

Re:share price determination - 2010/03/08 12:15 Dear Ivan,

I would suggest using basic models about stock valuation to understand what investors take into account when evaluating share price.

One simple argument would be the growth opportunities of the company: spending money on rent might be a good solution in short term, yet in long term it would end up with money thrown away.

Also, dividend payment strategy matters, as well as all the strategy of the company, if we ask "who would perform best in the long term"?

Re:share price determination - 2010/03/16 21:38 this makes sense, but would you be so kind to explane why our price in the end of the 6th round is lower than the prices of other companies? only 2 teams in our group invested in capacity (we were one of them), by the way we had the highest quality, increasing ratios from round to round and, finally, the largest profit in the group in the 6th round?
will there be any ajustments of the final results that system had shown?
thank you in advance.
