Dear all, 

The second day of the competition started with getting to know CESIM Global Challenge simulation lead by the representative from CESIM – Veijo Kyosti. The morning rounds appeared to be more challenging than expected, but participants were tough enough to face these challenges.

Afterwards, the guest lecturer R. Ian Davis presented his views on leadership and participants engaged into discussions presenting their views. The day continued with the last rounds of CESIM, and the results will be announced this evening, after the case studies’ presentation.

As the first peaks of competition were conquered, it was the time to go for Latvian National dinner - Skābeņu zupa (first course), Pelēkie zirņi ar speķi (main course) and Sklandu Rausis (dessert). The evening was accompanied by a short story about Latvian National cuisine and several Latvian folk songs to enrich participants’ knowledge about culture of Latvia.

The rest of evening activities involved sightseeing in the Old Town of Riga that continued with Pub Tour and finished in Mad House. The details are still unclear but they say that participants know how to say cheers in 7 different languages and that Peak Time is awesome.
