Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga or Rigas Ekonomikas Augstskola) is a business school in Riga, Latvia. Founded in 1994 as a subsidiary of the Stockholm School of Economics, the school’s first aim was to supply the economies of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with well-educated young professionals. SSE Riga offers a three-year Bachelor of Science program (BSc) in economics and business as well as an international Executive MBA program. The School has an international faculty and the language of instruction is English.
During the 3-step admission procedure which also includes testing and interviews, about 115 students from nearly 900 applicants are enrolled each year. Among them approximately 15% are from Estonia, 20 % from Lithuania and the rest of them from Latvia. Each semester the school is open for exchange students all over the world – Kazakhstan, Germany, Austria, Spain etc.

As SSE Riga employs modern teaching methods including group work, summer internships and case studies, the school has built a good reputation among employers and applicants alike. The atmosphere in the school is very friendly and students are proactive and passionate. Students are provided with a large variety of elective courses and extracurricular activities.
